We are all aware that a healthy lifestyle involves eating well and exercising regularly. But how does exercise actually achieve this other than feeling good about the way we look? 

Exercise is proven to help manage or prevent many health problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, strokes, diabetes and depression. 
Exercise stimulates the secretion of chemicals in the brain which can leave you feeling relaxed, happier and stress relieved. 
Physical activity can boost confidence and self esteem, as well as providing an energy boost, to help tackle day to day activities. 
Regular exercise promotes better sleep, helping you to fall asleep faster into a deeper sleep. 
And in addition to all of this - exercise can actually be fun!

So with all these benefits in mind, maybe it's time to treat yourself to a bit of exercise provoked TLC. After all, you only get one body!
NikFit's Approach

Our aim is to educate and encourage you into recognising the importance of a balanced lifestyle by teaching you about different aspects of healthy living including nutrition and exercise.

We are here to ensure that each of our personal training sessions is as beneficial, time effective and enjoyable as possible. Everybody is different. Each client requires different approaches to training, and just as importantly, each client has their own preferences, likes and dislikes. Our approach is to work with you as an individual, cater for your specific needs and requirements, and push you beyond your comfort zone, whilst ensuring that the session remains fun. However this doesn't mean that we make it a walk in the park for you (we save that for the low intensity sessions!). We want to push you further than you've been before. Sometimes we will ask you to do things you don't particularly like, or are not confident with. However this is probably because you lack experience and strength in these areas, which we will aim to improve. 

All we ask you for is your full effort and ambition to succeed! 

Methods

As a client you will receive a free consultation prior to your first session. This underlines your current health status and then what is important to you and what you aim to achieve. From this we can work together to agree on REALISTIC, ACHIEVABLE goals suited to your individual needs. 
Each client is offered a body assessment which helps us to keep track of your progress which will be monitored regularly throughout your programme, to ensure that we are on track to where you want to be. 
All sessions are conducted at a venue to suit you, be it at your home, workplace, local park or a private venue. We bring all of our own portable equipment to ensure we achieve a full body approach and variety in your workouts. 
Sessions can include the following types of training;

       - Cardiovascular                                  - Endurance
                  - Resistance                                                   - Strength
                  - Functional                                                     - Conditioning
                  - Circuit                                                            - Flexibility and Relaxation
                  - High/Low Intensity Interval




What We Offer

We offer personal training on a 1-to-1 basis for those of you who want expert help and advice dedicated to you and your goals.

We also offer small group training for those who prefer working out with others and want to split the cost.
